Just after returning from Lukas bday me and Neringa went to photograph special event indeed - MIR project (Make it real) was making live recording of their new song. We spent about 7 hours together with the project, spectators and recording staff. Helluva photos from two cameras, later on you will find most of it in my Picasa albums. This is Domas - vocal of a project - reflecting in a disco ball. By the way - they picked up very interesting spot to record - Kablys social place. I don’t know how to call it really. But I love it.

Neringa after a film about Helmut Newton - “Helmut by June” presented in 12th Remigijaus Zolubo fotomokykla community meeting. Photographers H. Newtons wife June made a film about him. They had a lot of home videos and footage from photo sessions, fashion shoots and meetings where Helmut talks with clients, his wife or friends. While watching the film it seemed that we are really watching H. Newton taking photos, talking with French, German and English photographers and designers, resting and thinking about new projects.

It’s interesting to take pictures with your phone. Why? Capturing the moment. Yeah, we came to that. And some errors you get. Lot’s of noise, black edges, blurry and, my favorite, lens glare. I’m talking about my Nokia 6131 camera abilities. It’s like new lomography. Phonography. It really corresponds with 8 out of 10 golden rules of Lomograhy:1. Take your LOMO Phone everywhere you go & whenever you go. 2. Use it anytime — day or night. 3. LomoPhonography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it. 4. Shoot from the hip. 5. Approach the objects of your Lomophonographic desire as close as possible. 6. Don’t think. 7. Be fast. 8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you’ve captured on film. 9. You don’t have to know afterwards, either. 10. Don’t worry about the rules.

Girl started cursing and calling my name. Then she said she’s coming with elevator to my storey. I opened the door and Kazimieras and Indrė (his new girlfriend) were standing there. Surprisingly, they ran away from psycho-hospital and were driving around drunk. So, everything ended with three of us drinking beer near shopping centre RIMI. Not a bad day at all.
